Features
Fully Managed and Hosted Solution
All you need to do is order involve now, and then we'll do the rest. We will give you an administration account so that you can monitor the project's success, and perform basic administration of the sites and portal should you require. You may like to commission us to design templates for you, or use existing, either yours or ours, it's no problem. From placing an order to being up and running can be only 2 weeks. Unlike other systems, you dont need to manually activate a users website, it happens automatically. The admin user (you) can opt to recieve an email when a new site is added, or so that you can check it at your convenience.

Content Creation Wizard
Our view is that one can offer a service such as this to community groups, but it is bound to fail unless they can be steered to putting meaningful content on their sites.

In developing the CCW we have created a fully accessible system for use by the visually impaired. Users are asked in an initial set up form whether they use a screen reader,should they answer 'no', the site is available for editing in WYSiWYG form, should a users answer be 'yes' editing of the site is performed through a series of screen reader compatible forms. The Content Creation Wizard lies at the heart of the involve suite. With so many existing community sites lacking quality content this means that from the moment your site launches it is populated.

Directory Service
The Directory service includes all sites within the system and can integrate with other systems. Additionally users can submit an external site to be linked to the system. Sites are then searchable by keyword and browsable by category, area or postode. Jobs, Events and News are equally browsable by category, area or postcode.

Sustainability Plan
As ODPM National Projects officially finish at the end of 2005, sustainability is often where many other projects fall over. involve is written in the web's most popular programming language (PHP) and uses a Content Management System (TYPO3) with over 150,000 installations worldwide. Other services just can't match that.

Sustainability of the system does not end there. We have already worked with existing clients to move the system away from the local authority funded first year, and provide both sponsorship opportunities and local advertisements.

We have priced involve at a level to ensure regular version releases and updates to the core.

Features
Each group has access to a large resource of features that they can turn on or off as they require. Management of all of the features is performed in the familiar "front-end" of their site, the experience has been designed to be as flexible as possible, with users having the choice of a fully-loaded feature-rich site, or just a page or two, and anything in between. Job listings, Events, Calendars, Gallery, Downloads, all come as preinstalled features at the users disposal.

Support
We enter into a Service Level Agreement with you. This demonstrates our commitment to keeping your purchase up and running 99.9% of the time. We offer both phone and email support. All email issues are added to the online support portal for others to benefit from. The support portal is availble to involve subscribers only.

Each unit of involve comes with a comprehensive user manual, to help with any first line support and administration. This may include deleting sites that are considered unsuitable, checking the system's usage or monitoring all of the images held on the system on a single screen.

The screens that the community user see come with prompts and explanations. involve has been widely tested on community members of all abilities and skill-sets. It's simple and it works.
